The Shaper Up-Spiral Flat Router Bit 1/4" x 1"r has similar qualities to those of the 6 mm cutters

Including solid carbide composition and double flute geometry - but has a longer tool life. In addition, this cutter offers the advantage of a longer overall and cutting edge length for deeper milling passes and improved stability in deep grooves. Longer effective length than the standard 6 mm cutter. Increased depth of cut and stability for deeper cuts. Positive spiral flute provides excellent chip evacuation.
