Although BORA is a relative newcomer (established in 2006 in Michigan, USA), it has earned a good reputation in the field of workshop equipment. This is partly due to the robustness and reliability of conventional products, but also to innovative products such as the Centipede and the Portacube, which offer well-thought-out new solutions for familiar tasks.

Material storage and transport

BORA offers various work trestles aptly named Workhorse, which can be loaded with up to 680 kg depending on the design. There are also roller racks and trestles as well as a scissor conveyor to make it easier to move material and workpieces.

One special item is the Centipede, a foldable underframe available in different versions and sizes. The construction is actually somewhat reminiscent of the eponymous centipede, especially in the larger models. It provides a variable support surface for the workpiece, which is an invaluable advantage especially when processing material panels in the workshop and on the construction site. The matching worktops with a perforated grid turn the Centipede into a mobile work table.

The BORA programme is rounded off by various cantilever racks that can carry a total load of 600 kg on up to six levels.

Mobile working

Smaller workshops often face the problem of how to equip less frequently used stationary machines or workbenches so that they can be moved quickly, easily and with little effort to the desired location. For this purpose, BORA offers workbench casters and a mobile machine base in various designs that can withstand high loads over long periods of time.

A special solution is the Portacube, a mobile workstation for cross-cut saws. The Portacube can be equipped with many cross-cut saw models from different manufacturers and can then be used for safe and easy transport of the machine, and on the construction site as a workbench or as a base frame for the cross-cut saw with fold-out work tables.
