Trend is in vogue: the routers and cutters from the English manufacturer have also earned an excellent reputation among German woodworkers. The manufacturing quality and the precision of the work results leave nothing to be desired. In addition to a very wide range of routers, Trend also offers practical accessories that testify to the development engineers' intensive study of the router.
Routers in all performance classes
In the sautershop, you will find five different routers from Trend. This means that all performance classes are represented, so you are sure to find a router that is suitable for your intended use. The Trend T1 and Trend T4 are examples of the compact class: small, light and easy to handle. They can be used as an edge milling machine (T1) or in a drill stand or for CNC milling (T4, with 43 mm neck). The mid-range class is represented by the Trend T7 and Trend T8. They can also be used with larger diameter milling cutters with a 12 mm shaft. When using the T8 in a milling table, the height can be easily adjusted through the work table. The top class is covered by the Trend T14, the successor to the popular T11. In addition to a powerful motor and a range of comfort and safety features, the T14 is ideal for the milling table, where it masters both delicate and heavy milling with ease. Despite its size and weight, it remains very easy to control in manual operation, but thanks to the height adjustment from above, its home remains the milling table.
Shank cutters for every conceivable purpose
The shank cutters from Trend are characterised by clean workmanship and high material quality, so that they are convincing in terms of both tool life and durability. The selection of cutter types is very large for both 8 mm and 12 mm shank diameters, and more unusual profiles and applications (e.g. counter profile milling) can also be found.
Router tables
The sautershop has two router tables from Trend in its programme, for those users who do not want to put together a router table themselves using our configurator. The WRT is the ideal solution for private users with high demands – a solid and stable table with a well-made MDF worktop. It can, of course, be equipped with Trend routers (we also offer corresponding kits), but models from other manufacturers also fit without the need for any modifications. If you only work on the milling table occasionally or your workshop is rather small, Trend's smaller, mobile milling table CRT-MK3 is the perfect solution. It comes with a wide range of accessories (pressure comb, mitre and angle stop) and is also available in a set with routers from Trend.
Accessories
Trend naturally offers all the necessary accessories for its routers (collets, copying rings and much more). The Varijig multi-routing template is worthy of particular mention, as it makes light work of routing rectangular recesses from approx. 20 x 20 mm to 600 x 600 mm. We highly recommend purchasing it as a set, together with the CRB7 adapter plate, which can be used to rout circles and arcs.
